Dr. Wilkinson has been practicing for over four years and is currently serving patients at Amarillo Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Amarillo, Texas. He has clinical privileges at Northwest Texas Hospital and Baptist St Anthony (BSA) Hospital.
Dr. Wilkinson attended the University Of Louisville School Of Dentistry in Louisville, Kentucky. He graduated in 2004 with his doctorate of dental medicine and completed further training at Baylor College of Dentistry, where he focused on advanced specialty training in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. To stay at the forefront of a challenging industry, Dr. Wilkinson maintains active memberships with the Texas Dental Association, the American Dental Association, the American Medical Association, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the West Texas Oral Facial Surgery.
Dr. Wilkinson also holds a medical degree from Texas Tech University and completed a General Surgery Internship at Baylor University. During his residency, he completed advanced specialty training in numerous aspects of facial surgery, including facial trauma and reconstruction, orthognathic surgery, advanced bone grafting, cosmetic surgery and reconstruction of the oral cavity using dental implants. Dr. Wilkinson feels that he owes his success to his hard work and not wanting to fail. Outside his dental practice, he dedicates to outdoor activities, such as hunting, fishing, camping, and ATV off-roading. He loves his time with his family as well as Alabama football.
