A Kingston clinic has welcomed three top healthcare professionals to its team – a paediatric surgeon, a dermatologist and a child psychologist.

GPS Medical, which is a one stop clinic for all medical, surgical, preventative and primary care health services in the area, now boasts Dr. Autrene Buchanan Waite, Dr. Janaki Parsard and Kellie-Anne Brown Campbell among its ranks.

Dr. Buchanan Waite is a paediatric surgeon and former president of the Jamaica Medical Doctors Association. She still works in the public health system and has now also taken on a role at GPS Medical. Dr. Autrene Buchanan Waite is passionate about her work as a paediatric doctor and will support any young person who needs her services.

Dr. Janaki Parsard is a dermatologist and works in aesthetic medicine at GPS Medical. Dr. Parsard has a string of accolades and qualifications, including an MBBS from UWI Mona and a Masters in clinical dermatology from Cardiff University. Dr. Parsard also has advanced qualifications from DermaMedical in London for the application of botox and injectable fillers. She is also a qualified cosmetic laser technician from the National Laser Institute in Arizona.

Kellie-Anne Brown Campbell is a licensed associate school psychologist with more than 14 years of experience working with young and school-aged children. Kellie-Anne has joined the team at GPS Medical to help local families and their children with all aspects of mental health and psychological support. Kellie-Anne is a licensed psychologist, school principal and educator in her field. She completed her Masters at the University of British Colombia in Vancouver.

A spokesman from GPS Medical said: “We are always striving to be the best. We want to ensure we can give our local community first class care and services. The addition of these three talented and experienced women to our team is a huge coup.

“We are particularly focused on ensuring we provide the very best care for families and their children. The experience of Dr. Autrene Buchanan Waite and Kellie-Anne Brown Campbell really does set us aside as a clinic supporting children and young people.

“To attract the talent of Dr. Janaki Parsard is a great triumph for us. The combination of her talents as a highly certified dermatologist and the services she can provide from an aesthetic medicine perspective are incredible.

“We really can tick all of the boxes for our patients and their families – whether they need a doctor’s appointment for minor ailment, surgical procedures, women’s health services, mental health support or trusted aesthetic services from a doctor.

“We would like to welcome our three new colleagues and urge members of our local community to get in touch if they need support from Dr. Buchanan Waite, Dr. Parsard or Kelle-Anne, or any other members of our team,” he added.
