Albany, New York – The International Nurses Association is pleased to welcome Naomi Lynn Simonson, MD, AA, to their prestigious organization with her upcoming publication in the Worldwide Leaders In Healthcare. Naomi is a Registered Nurse working for Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie, Ontario in Canada. With over 27 years of experience in health care, she specializes in caring for patients under anesthesia as part of the Anesthesia Care Team.
Educated in her native Canada, Naomi gained her Nursing degree from Winnipeg Health Science Centre in 1989. An associate degree qualification as an Anesthesia Assistant was gained in 2008, from the Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences in Toronto. She is an active member of the Canadian Nursing Association and the Canadian Anesthesiologist Society, as well as the National Association of Perianesthesia Nurses of Canada, and the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario.
Naomi says that her success is due to her desire to challenge herself, and her love of acquiring new knowledge and skills. She strives to provide the best care possible for her patients every day, and and treats every patient as an individual, helping them make a perfect preparation for their operation. When not at work with the Anesthesia Care Team, Naomi relaxes by reading and gardening, or by taking her dogs for her walk. She also enjoys playing golf.
