VehicleHistory Introducing Free Auto Loan Calculator

“Learning about a used vehicle’s history is crucial to consumers. But before they can get to that point, they need to know how much they can afford to budget for a car. Many people don’t know what they can really afford. We plan to help them figure that”

VehicleHistory.com, a company created to help consumers research the history of used cars before purchasing, has announced that they will now offer a free auto loan calculator on their website. The online calculator will allow consumers to figure out what their monthly payments will be given the price of the vehicle they are looking to buy.

VehicleHistory.com, a company created to help consumers research the history of used cars before purchasing, has announced that they will now offer a free auto loan calculator on their website.

“Learning about a used vehicle’s history is crucial to consumers,” said Vanessa Hernandez, a Vehicle History spokeswoman. “But before they can get to that point, they need to know how much they can afford to budget for a car. Many people don’t know what they can really afford. We plan to help them figure that out, so they shop realistically.”

The VehicleHistory free auto loan calculator will prompt people to input the price of a vehicle and how many monthly payments they are comfortable with. Then they can either enter the current average interest rates on auto loans – which will be provided on the site – or the rate they think they will pay based on their credit history. The system will tell them what their monthly payments will be.

“A consumer can experiment with different values to see how that affects the monthly payment,” she said. “By altering those variables, they can see directly how they will directly affect their budget. This should always be the first step in any car buying process in the consumer marketplace.”

The vehicle loan calculator is important, she said, because consumers should always know exactly the total price they can afford to pay, and before they go into a dealership.

“Dealerships want you to pay as much as possible for a car,” she said. “So they try to manipulate interest rates and monthly payments to make a car seem more affordable than it actually is. Our number one tip is to always negotiate the total price first, and our vehicle calculator will help a buyer have the information they need to not be taken advantage of during the car buying process.”

The calculator can be used by consumers as many times as they want without any additional charge, she said.
