A stunning new book on the odyssey of a teen who found himself entangled in a legal maelstrom that threatened his freedom is set to be released on August, 2019. Titled Guilty Before Innocent, the 200-page book is a candid and at times shocking account of Jack Altman’s perseverance in his quest to clear his name and defend himself at the tender age of fourteen.
Jack’s story begins on the morning of December 8, 2016 when, upon walking through the doors of his high school in the Welsh Valley Middle School of Lower Merion School District in Ardmore, Pennsylvania, he was informed that he was under investigation, and that he was also suspended from the school, effective immediately. Officers who subsequently searched his home computers and scoured his bedroom for evidence found none. After almost two years of fighting, Jack was able to read his testimony to the detective assigned to his case, and, in conjunction with further discussions with the district attorney and other investigators, he was by and large exonerated, while no charges were pursued by police, either.
“Me and my relatives decided to put my story to paper to show how life can change at a moment’s notice,” said Jack. “I hope that people draw valuable lessons from reading Guilty Before Innocent and get inspired by my fierce fight for freedom and truth.”
Guilty Before Innocent will be available from Amazon and other major bookstores. The book’s exact release date will be announced by its publisher in future communications with the press.
