Professionals at Raindrop Branding & Advertising Team with World of Work to Let Students Virtually Explore World of Marketing

The World of Work program takes education to the next level by providing districts with the tools they need to connect curriculum to careers. As many young adults enter the workforce, oftentimes they are lacking the passing, skills, or experience needed to excel in their jobs. The four levels of World of Work that lead students to success in their future are simple: students hear about a career, have the opportunity to gain hands on experience with it, meet a professional in that career, and then practice it. Level 3, meeting a professional in the career, comes to students via Meet a Pro Chats. They are like virtual field trips that thousands of students can go on at once! One Meet a Pro brought students into the modern world of advertising with Raindrop Branding & Advertising.

The Meet a Pro session with Raindrop gave students a look into how creativity, communication, and design can lead them to a rewarding career in advertising. Different professionals at Raindrop were able to take the technology that puts the Meet a Pros into the classroom around to different stations where students saw how imaging, content, videos, fonts, and working together produces eye catching and effective results for the clients of Raindrop. The enthusiasm shown by Raindrop’s employees gives students momentum to move forward with their hopes and aspirations and find a career that will suit them. The World of Work gives this opportunity to students over and over again as Meet a Pro chats are readily available and have been done with businesses from dog grooming to costume design! The World of Work wants to help school districts connect their students to successful and exciting businesses, like Raindrop Branding & Advertising so every child knows there is a place for them in the world of work.
