For the second year in a row, the Charlotte Business Journal has honored local, family-owned businesses for their excellence, their integrity, and their innovation—and Kuester Companies was among the finalists. The company, which provides property and association management services to local businesses and communities, was named as a contender for the 2017 Family Business Award, in a ceremony conducted on April 19.

Kuester was joined by a number of deserving 2017 Family Business Award Finalists—including Autobell Car Wash, Inc., Eastwood Homes, Good’s Home Furnishings, Preferred Medical Marketing Corp., and several others. In the end, at a ceremony in Charlotte, the final winners included Niki’s International Limited, Autobell, Crowder Constructors Inc., Hissho Sushi, and Cheerwine.
Kuester Companies received recognition in the category of businesses with 51-250 employees; the winner in this group was Tropical Nut & Fruit and Healthy Home Market.
