STAKE will be built on the UMG Gaming foundation that was purchased by Harena Data, a subsidiary of The Yard.GG and will create a safe space for video gaming fans to compete in games of skill against each other. Players can propose wagers, accept wagers and competitions and then compete directly with other players.
STAKE is building upon success and a user base of 2.5 million players but its aim is to be the P2P platform that has the widest base of games offered and to the widest base of users in order diversify competition sand to create real community around game play.
Online sports gambling in the US is on the rise and the market is already worth billions of dollars. STAKE is dedicated to opening the P2P Market and to creating a beachhead through skills based wagering in North American and globally. Revenue is derived primarily from a small transaction fee for withdrawals and from interest earned on funds held.
