About the Author
Bob Rosenbaum lives in Colorado’s Uncompahgre Valley where he divides his time between hiking and camping, splitting firewood and writing detective novels set in a fictionalized version of the Western Slope. He holds a PHD in US History, specializing in the American West. Over a checkered career he has been, among other things, a university professor, a construction laborer, a house painter and roofer and the chief of a volunteer fire department.
