Langley, BC – Brendon Brady Aka 5 Fires, a 38-year-old resident, is currently in the semi-finals of the Inked Magazine Cover Contest, where he has a chance to win a prize and be featured in Inked Magazine.
Brendon has been passionate about tattoos since his teenage years, using them as a form of self-expression and storytelling. According to Brendon, his tattoos represent various aspects of life. His body art includes an ocean-themed foot featuring an octopus, fish, and waves, an upper leg adorned with a lighthouse and a witch, a phoenix on his ribs, stars and planets on his arm, a family crest on his chest, a crow on his ribs, a world on his back, and a bass guitar sleeve on his right arm.
These symbols pay homage to nature, family, and the wisdom of life, serving as a testament to the beauty of self-expression.
Growing up in Langley, BC, Brendon has always been passionate about art and music. In his youth, he played bass guitar in a local band and turned to singing as a therapeutic outlet after a difficult breakup with his ex-partner. Participating in this competition is also a significant step toward realizing his dream of becoming a professional singer.
Over the past year, Brendon has been taking singing lessons and thoroughly enjoying the experience. Winning the Inked Magazine contest and being featured in the magazine would be a significant boost to his aspirations in the music industry. Should Brendon emerge victorious, he intends to use the prize money to complete his back tattoo and begin work on his right leg.
