Some tourists may also be interested in visiting the Phnom Sorsia which is a Buddhist hill complex in the city. The cave is filled with Buddhist cultural features. This is considered a holy hill and there are steps set which reach both the top of the mountain and the Whit Elephant Cave. The cave also has a concealed pool that has warm water which is accessed through a hole. One of the best areas to also explore is the Old Market also known as Phsar Kronat. The market was built in the late 1930s and was later abandoned. It has since been reopened and is set near the Kampot river which holds both a traditional market and the lifestyle shops. The market has shops for vintage collections, souvenirs and clothing.
