Retired USAF E9 and educator, HD Graham, narrates the rollercoaster moments of his exciting career in the United States Air Force in the book “Mother, Please Let Me Go: An Air Force Career to Remember”

HD Graham’s pursuit of telling the story of an NCO (non-commissioned officer) in the United States Air Force recently got a boost with his memoir, Please Let Me Go: An Air Force Career to Remember, catching the attention of Author’s Tranquility Press.

“This book is about my exciting and wonderful career in the United States Air Force. I listed my various assignment in the order in which they occurred and outlined the major events in my life while at each base. Every assignment had a lot of good points and some that wasn’t that great but I tried to focus on the exciting things.” – HD Graham.

Air force personnel and other officers in the military and defense agencies can be rightly described as unsung heroes helping to maintain the sovereignty of countries. However, the ordeals of these strong men are not often known to an average civilian. Consequently, HD Graham is looking to share the exciting times as well as the challenges faced by the military with as many people as possible using the Air Force as a case study with the release of Mother, Please Let Me Go: An Air Force Career to Remember.

The book aims to appreciate the efforts of the men of the Air Force as the author recounts his memorable assignments, including the war in Vietnam as well as other experiences that continue to haunt him till date. Graham’s account is particularly unique, as he reveals a family history that includes all his brothers serving in the military accumulated over 170 years. He also touched on his experience as a teacher, including observing practicing for the flight across southern Pennsylvania that crashed on 9/11.

Mother, Please Let Me Go: An Air Force Career to Remember is available in different formats, including Kindle, paperback, and hardcover.
