A year ago, Orchard & Ludlow, formerly known as Artisan Barber, opened up its Lower East Side location. Since the start of the pandemic, the luxury salon has weathered the storm in part due to its loyal clientele and skilled barbers and stylists.
The Lower East Side location is larger in size than the Upper East Side location and also doubles as an art gallery that holds the works of artist Mark West. It differs from Artisan Barber in that it is a unisex luxury salon, therefore servicing women as well unlike the UES barber shop.
To celebrate its one year anniversary, founder of the best women’s hair salon in New York City, Charlie McCoy threw a Covid-19-friendly get together. The event was small and required guests to wear face masks until its conclusion. In the year that this women’s barbershop in Manhattan has been open, clients have received top quality services, with new ones added on a regular basis.
Just recently Orchard & Ludlow started to offer hair dying services to its customers that includes a mandatory consultation prior to the coloring session. The salon which is home to the best hairstylists in NYC felt that this was a necessary measure to make sure that the client’s hair qualifies for the coloring service and won’t suffer from severe damage because of it.
As 2020 comes to an end and 2021 nears, McCoy’s salon will continue to move forward and up with its great management and stylists always ready. Book an appointment now at www.orchardandludlow.com
