Class is in Session in the Alpine Union School District

The Alpine Union School District is working hard to provide students and families in the Alpine Union community with help and resources during school closures. Due to recommendations from the CDC, and in order to put students’ health and safety first, Alpine Union School District has been hosting classes virtually from April 15th until further notice.

Distance learning takes place in the district with the support of teachers and many other resources available to students. To provide students with quality education, classes take place on Google Classroom, Zoom, and through other online programs. These programs help students and teachers stay connected and engaged with one another.

For students who do not have access to computers or technology at home, AUSD provides Chromebooks for students. Wifi is also available in multiple parking lots in the school district, including at BOES, CELC, JMMS, and SHES.

The district realizes this can be a difficult time for students and families and is also working hard to help support the community through free meals for pick up and having a counselor and social worker available each week, Monday through Friday.

Alpine Union School District also has multiple resources listed for academic, social and emotional, and college/career readiness support on the district website. To learn more about current happenings at AUSD and great resources for distance learning, click here!
