StarPointe Consulting is pleased to present a new coaching course, Dating On The Spectrum. This online coaching course is inspired by the hit Netflix show, ‘Love on the Spectrum’, and aims to aid young adults on the autism spectrum to feel confident about finding new partners, develop short and long-term relationships, make friends and learn to build healthy connections.
Life can be tough, and more so for those on the autism spectrum. When it comes to dating and romance, things can quickly get more challenging. StarPointe’s program is about revealing the world of dating, where new friendships and relationships blossom. The program will reveal:
-
How to go about dating
-
Healthy versus unhealthy behavior in dating
-
Get to know oneself as a prospective dating partner
-
Identify what to look for in a relationship
-
Skills to minimize conflict and forms of abuse
The staff at StarPointe is highly supportive, and every client will receive complete support as they go about making new friends and increase their social awareness. The course will reveal how it is normal and common for young adults to form dating relationships. They will also receive help in navigating the physical aspects and the choice of forming intimate relationships with the goal of forming a healthy connection. All of this is irrespective of the form it takes, whether emotional, intellectual, recreational, or physical.
“The wonderful people at StarPointe Consulting have helped my young adult son. They really “get” who he is, and help him access and use his strengths, while also supporting him in facing his challenges,” says a recent client.
Other associated benefits of the course include gaining confidence for new experiences and finding success with good and effective social communication. For parents too, there are workshops where discussion topics involve dating, relationships, and skills needed to support young adults as they enter the new, exciting and often challenging world of dating.
‘Dating On The Spectrum’ begins January 13, 2021 with limited space available. Registrations can be made through the official website.
