DOAS Planning Is Leaving No One Behind as They Empower Neighborhood and Community Profits for Economic Sustainability

The company is committed to seeing community-based organizations and nonprofits successfully prepare for post-pandemic recovery funding opportunities

The COVID-19 pandemic wreaked havoc on primarily the health of American citizens and the economy. Post pandemic disruptions have also created increased concern and uncertainty for community-based organizations and small nonprofits nationwide. Moreover, the needs of human services programs, food insecurity, job preparedness, education programs, support for small businesses, and funding to support the return of arts and cultural programs is even greater than before. All were adversely impacted by COVID shutdowns and social distancing protocols. Forward-thinking government financial support and actions was needed to begin returning to some semblance of normalcy. Thus, the American Rescue Plan.

The United States government passed the American Rescue Act to help states and cities emerge and recover from the ruins of the pandemic. States, public and private foundation funders, and American corporations have committed to work with, and work in the communities by offering grant and funding assistance to small businesses, community-based organizations and nonprofits.

This assistance however hinges on the question: “Is the organization ready to apply and receive funding and support?” Regardless of the funding source, impact is both the measure of success and the goal. The process demands transparency and well-crafted applications with the proper supporting documents for grant approval and funding success. When applying for grants and sponsorship, the first impression is the only impression.

DOAS Planning is offering virtual workshops nationally to equip small neighborhood and community nonprofits to utilize readily-available nationwide funding programs, support programs and IRS Approved Charitable Gifting protocols that can make a difference in the everyday operations of nonprofit groups where every penny counts. Completion of registrations in the databases (all of which are free) that funders use to vet tax-exempt groups is the firsts step in any successful funding campaign.

DOAS Planning is offering virtual workshops nationwide scheduled for April 21st, 2022 and May 19th, 2022 from 11pm to 1pm at $20 per workshop. A post-workshop, private Facebook group starts from June 23rd 2022 continuing every 4th Thursday throughout the year, from 6pm to 7:30 pm to support workshop participants in developing their fundraising and grant funding campaigns.  Attendees will become their own mastermind group offering one another information, guidance and tips on how to better craft grant applications by sharing their experiences. Participants will also be offered opportunities to gain access to free certification courses to train staff and improve the overall skills in nonprofit financial, brand and social media management services. Visit and Like our Facebook page to explore more and new grant opportunities as new posts are uploaded daily.
