Skyler Phillips has brought his graphic design skills to bear as he launches the stylist-focused fashion brand, Ready To Dye Apparel. The goal is to create unique pieces that represent the stylist community, as opposed to the generic items that do not particularly express the desire of professionals in the important, multi-billion-dollar industry.
“The brand was created one day by searching for some graphic t-shirts that were related to the cosmetology industry, and I could wear in the salon. Each time I searched, the same thing popped up, generic and unflattering designs that were clearly made by someone not in our industry. So I thought “What if the stylist community had a place to find trendy apparel related to THEIR industry like so many others have?” – Skyler Phillips. “With my knowledge of the cosmetology community and the help of a great artist friend of mine, Ready To Dye Apparel was born.”
The global hair care market has evolved and grown significantly over the years due to the emergence of several brands and solutions to meet the diverse needs of consumers. A recent report put the size of the market at approximately $84.4 billion, with the Consumer Market Outlook projecting that it will increase to about $104.6 billion by 2026. Unfortunately, the place of stylists is not duly represented especially in the fashion world, which is where Skyler aims to make a difference with the creation of Ready To Dye.
Ready To Dye offers premium quality apparel and accessories designed to be unique to the hair care industry. The approach by Skyler and his team is particularly distinct, allowing customers to choose their favorite prints on the front or back of the apparel. The categories of products offered by Ready To Dye Apparel include hats, tees, hoodies, and aprons.
The stylist-oriented fashion brand is already enjoying rave reviews from shoppers across the US. “Perfect! I love the stitching and feel of the fabric. Highly recommended to fellow hairstylists. You rock. Thanks for these designs.” – Elisa G.
In line with the goal of reaching out to as many people as possible, Ready To Dye also launched its ambassador program that enables participants to earn as high as 15% commissions. There is also the philanthropic side of the business, with Ready To Dye supporting campaigns such as A.W.O.L Animal Hospital and The Alley Forney Center for a safer community.
