M.A.G.I.C. Unity Home for Girls Celebrates The Holidays With A Fresh Website

M.A.G.I.C. Unity Home for Girls, a community have for underserved and at-risk teenage girls, celebrated the holidays in style this past month.

In December, M.A.G.I.C. provided an excellent Christmas experience by gifting laptops and tablets, designer shoes, clothes, fashionable earbuds and accessories for their young residents.

One of the founding principles of M.A.G.I.C. Unity Home for Girls is that all children have the right to be valued and protected. That is why they strive to empower young ladies to take control of their lives by helping them learn to take control of themselves.

For the new year, the staff at MAGIC got things rolling with a brand new web presence. The new site, found at www.magicuhfg.org, was a way to celebrate a successful year.

“The girls had a wonderful Christmas. We did our best to make Christmas happy for our girls by providing them with the best gifts of the season. We are also proud of our new website which helps us to articulate the powerful vision we have for Home in the coming year! Remember, it takes a village! We want to invite any like-minded people to partner with us and our community, to get involved with making a difference in the lives of young girls in Baltimore city. Visit our website to volunteer, partner or become a sponsor!” – Dianne Nelson, Chief Executive Officer.

MAGIC Unity Home for Girls runs various programs for neighborhood youth including life skills, socialization skills, academic remediation, and public speaking.
