Operationheatjac is an all new and innovative project aimed at protecting everyone, from cold in the winter. Started by Dr. Mark Silverberg from Chicago, with the goal of designing a garment to be worn by Operating Room (OR) personnel to help keep them comfortable in the freezing cold OR, this project aims at creating self-heating garments for adults to help keep them comfortable in cold weather. The garments can change one’s existing coats and jackets into heated or battery powered coats and jackets. The creator of this project has recently launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter to raise funds and support for the project and he is welcoming everyone to generously make pledges and donations.

The primary aim behind this project is to make the Operationheatjac garments available in the school colors of various high schools and perhaps eventually to universities. The garments sales can help serve as a fundraiser for the schools. Moreover, the Operationheatjacs would work real well to help parents keep warm watching their kids play an outdoor sport in the cold weather. According to the creator of this project, a sum of $20,000 is required to meet the campaign goals and everyone is welcome to make generous contributions.

The Kickstarter Campaign is located on the web at:
