Dr. Zandifar is a 2002-graduate of the well-reputed David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles. Armed with his Doctor of Medicine degree, he went on to serve his Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery residency at SUNY Upstate prior to being accepted to one of a few highly sought after fellowships in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Beeson Aesthetic Surgery Institute in Carmel, Indiana. There, under the tutelage of world-famous plastic and reconstructive surgeons, Dr. Zandifar received rigorous training, which now allows him to provide the best and most advanced treatments available. He is a board-certified diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. In addition, he maintains professional society membership withthe American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Dr. Zandifar is a published author in peer-reviewed journals. Furthermore, he has presented in many national meetings and has received several awards of distinction from his patients and colleagues. He was featured on the Super Doctors® 2013 Southern California Rising Star℠ List and was honored with Walter P. Work, M.D. Award for outstanding performance in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Zandifar is currently conducting research with the Beeson Aesthetic Surgery Institute. He believes that he owes his success to his hard work, dedication, and perseverance. When he is not practicing, he enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
