Wara Nihon is an upcoming Documentary Project by Chin and Pierre, a couple currently living in Tokyo. This documentary is about discovering the primitive Japan with a self-built mobile house, and it covers the journey of this multi-talented couple across land of the rising sun. To introduce this project to the world, both creators of this project have recently launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter, and they are welcoming generous support and backing. From primitive Japaneseculture to the simple life of ordinary people and from rich Japanese tradition to breathtaking landscapes of the islands, the documentary has it all.
“During our journey across Japan while making this documentary film, we will learn from our experiences, record them, and present those experiences to the world.” Said Westelynck Pierre, while introducing this project to the Kickstarter community. “We have been living in Tokyo for one and a half years, but prior to this we each lived a nomadic life and tried to change our lifestyles individually.” He added, while talking about the inspiration for making a documentary on primitive Japan.
The Kickstarter Campaign is located on the web at:
www.kickstarter.com/projects/waranihon/documentary-wara-nihon-wara-nihon and backers from around the world can become a part of this project by making generous pledges and donations. Moreover, the first goal of this Kickstarter campaign is to raise a sum of $5,450 for building the mobile house, but due to the overwhelming response of the backing community, this campaign has already exceeded this goal, while more backers continue to pledge for the further step, making the documentary and distributing it. The couple is also offering great rewards for the backers with worldwide shipping and more details are available on the Kickstarter campaign page of the project.
