Indelible 5.0 out of 5 stars I watched this again and again Reviewed in the United States on August 14, 2020

I watched episode 1 and I haven’t seen anything quite like it. With slave robots fighting giant ominous armored human soldiers, it flips the tradition of who the good guys are vs the bad guys, like the Amazon series the Boys who has superheroes as the bad guys. I loved the classic ideas of science fiction and action movies shaken up in the way “Chrome” does. And it is like a living graphic novel or a live action anime truly brought to life. I can say I truly loved this film. It was a feast for the eyes and it thrived on a straight up unapologetic love for the superhero genre. Whereas a lot of superhero movies have become stale, this one brings a completely re- envision to the superhero universe. And the lovingly campy dialogue which is clearly deliberate is delicious and fun at every turn. Episode 1 is a half hour and I thought of nothing else nor could turn away while watching it. I immediately watched it again. I recommend this.

This is a pretty cool action/sifi movie. Makes me wish they had a lot more videos. This sucked me in and had me at the edge of my seats watching. A lot of people said ots dark it kind of is but its also a very good movie. A must watch if you love action or sifi and especially if you love both.

Aaron 5.0 out of 5 stars Very cool! Reviewed in the United States on August 15, 2020
I really liked the retro campy style. Chrome was so unique. The story is delivered with such reverence for the comic book genre. Reminded me of an anime warrior. it moved me emotionally. This is like no other show I’ve seen. It’s original. And its presentation will frighten some who want the familiar old stuff. But if you want raw unapologetic comic book action in a live action series, (and it is intense action), then you will love this. Very cool.

Fantastic! I Recommend this!

Javier Pasiilas THANK YOU CREATORS! Reviewed in the United States on July 21, 2020

If you like Animatrix, then you’ll like this. Think of this as the theatrical-play version (with live actors) of the first 7 minutes of the Animatrix. How did the machines come to rise up? This gem will reveal it all. Only complaint is… we are waiting for Ep 2, 3, 4… Think Love, Sex, Robots + Battlestar Galactica + Matrix. P.S. the haters on these reviews don’t know a good thing, their version of well executed art is season 99 of the Big Bang Theory (not available on Inter-Dimensional Cable), now with extra-super-duper-imposed laffturrr.

JZ 5.0 out of 5 stars Gritty CyberPunk Reviewed in the United States on May 30, 2020

Gritty CyberPunk with capital P. Feels and looks like it was torn from the pages a 1980s dystopian comic book. Lots flying by really fast, sometimes literally, so I plan to rewatch it to figure out exactly what I missed

Curmudgeon 5.0 out of 5 stars Future Cult Classic! Reviewed in the United States on July 26, 2020

Has aspects from just about every similar movie I have seen, the good ones, the great ones and the bad ones. This is what happens when you put 70’s Wonder Woman, Metropolis, Blade Runner and a classic Campbellian Hero Myth into a blender, homogenize and then extract anything and everything that is remotely philosophical or intellectual. The only motifs missing are Motoko Kusanagi and RanXerox.

Bebop 4.0 out of 5 stars Artsy, retro low budget film Reviewed in the United States on June 23, 2020

Some what cheesy, bad acting in a stylized sort of way. Over all this indie film is a good artsy retro low budget sort of way. If that’s what you like that is, but if you don’t well…I guess it’s like rum raisin flavored space ice cream. You can tell the director set designers, and the crew/artist put a lot of work into this pilot.

Rebecca E Kleinfeldt 5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Comic Book Movie Series Reviewed in the United States on August 19, 2020

It’s a comic book graphic novel on video. The framing and colors are deliberately made to look as if you’re moving from one panel to the next. And it works. I kept being reminded in a good way to Mad Max: Fury Road. The color saturation feel drawn and painted it strangely felt like I was dreaming a comic book comic book graphic novel like Arkham Asylum from the Vertigo DC universe. There were flavors of Manga series with heroes and villains in this series that are so over the top and with dialogue so well delivered that it is at once campy and well-acted, fresh and feels like a movie of another time. Count me as a fan of this series.

Cayley Coppola 5.0 out of 5 stars Yes good yes Reviewed in the United States on June 23, 2020

Chrome is a futuristic , progressively shot animated action mini series with a complex and interesting story line. The character of Perdix (played by Natasha Coppola-Shalom) especially stands out as a charming and adorable robot yet she packs an intense punch and plays a loyal guardian of the lead.

AMY MILLER 5.0 out of 5 stars Metropolis “Style” Reviewed in the United States on June 28, 2020

I liked the robots voices. Reminded me of watching a 30-40’s movie like wizard of OZ but with fighting robots.
All around fun. Actresses were pretty nice. I felt like I was in the movie.

Josh Rich 5.0 out of 5 stars An Original Masterpiece Reviewed in the United States on August 24, 2020

An original strange and masterpiece. Delightfully dark and gritty. When the nude robot has a hole blown in her by the laser robot and keeps running I was like, whooah! This was great. Will watch the rest of it when they come out.
