New York City – Jan 9, 2024 – David S. Zucker, who created and directed the film on the history of the song “I love Rock N Roll” written by Alan Merrill, received multiple wins. The documentary is about how Alan Merrill created the song. Producer Glen Kolotkin was worried that the album did not have a hit song. He was producing for Joan Jett at that time, when Joan Jett was watching a tv show where Alan Merrill was performing the song with his band the Arrows. Glen Kolotkin was so excited when Joan played the song, and the rest was history.
Mr. Zucker’s film won the Cannes World Film Festiva and Round the Globe Film & Music Festival, Music Video Underground, and London Indie Film Festival, He still has ten more entries in other festivals. Mr. Zucker also credits having a good team behind him, Producer John Nagel, Camera & Editing by Bruce Faulkner and Special thanks to Ethyl’s Alcohol and food in NYC and Holr studios.
David S Zucker created multiple TV stations including My Jam Music Network and is opening two new channels for Beauty home shopping network, a Cannabis and Re Vu TV that has a partnership with Airy TV and deals with multiple Cable and major platforms worldwide.
Mr. Zucker has a full slate this year. He is excited to create a new series showing scenes of Mob movies. Sal Polisi who lived the life of a real Wise guy will tell the fans of what is real and embellished and fans love to always hear the real stories and never can get enough of Mob stories.
