Sana London Launches Debut Jewellery Collection With First In-House Designs

UNITED KINGDOM – 8 January, 2022 – SANA LONDON announced today the launch of a debut jewellery collection featuring the first original designs by British independent designer Sana Ali, signalling a shift into a new design category inspired by celebrity street style from the ’60s.

This season, Sana uses her eye for design and vintage pieces combined with her sustainable mission to introduce an original jewellery collection created to inspire boldness. Building on the brand’s hallmark vintage and estate collection jewellery, the debut collection features 14 Karat recycled gold jewellery made with precious gemstones and lab created diamonds. The Swiss Blue Topaz Rainbow Cocktail Heart Huggie is already a favourite of international fashion model Mia Kang.  The jewellery embraces fun and happy shades, for a vivid bold look you won’t find anywhere else.

“I am a big fan, I wear this stuff, it’s a female run business, ethical, sustainable, everything is handmade from up-cycled authentic designer pieces – cute like anything. I am allergic to nickel and everything is silver and gold plated silver…” says Mia Kang, Model, Author of memoir Knockout, TV host and Muay Thai fighter.

True to the brand’s ethos to only create limited edition drops, the line was developed as a small-batch collection to ensure zero waste designs for the most sustainability. Lastly, the collection is complete with eco-friendly packaging and comes with a hand-written note for a personalised touch.

“I am so excited to share this debut collection with our audience and to introduce our brand’s unique eye for design that goes beyond vintage,” said Sana. “When I created this collection, I wanted to introduce bold and happy shades that are not often found on the market today, while staying true to our love for vintage design, as well as our sustainable practices.”

Launched in the wake of a global pandemic, SANA LONDON has stunned audiences with its ability to upgrade vintage pieces from around the world as it preserves the glamour and opulence of the 90’s designer decade. Now, Sana, a former chemist, is ready to also share her design talent, in order to bring more stylish designs to audiences everywhere without compromising the environment. Sana uses her background in chemistry to be a pioneer for slow-fashion as she embraces the most environmental options for her designs.
