Transenergy Logistics LLC looks set to train the next set of professionals in the trucking industry as the company launches their CDL Training Academy. The CDL School, officially named Transenergy CDL Academy, has been approved through the NCDMV and will be officially launched on June 27th, 2022, at Eastridge Mall in Gastonia.
Transenergy CDL Academy is a minority women owned CDL school and the first of its kind in the Mecklenburg and Gaston County area. Their goal is to change the narrative for individuals from underserved communities and create safer roads for all. It will provide affordable, in-person Behind the Wheel training.
Transenergy CDL Academy aims to fill the gap in the market by providing students with their unique approach utilizing smaller classes, with more hands-on training and behind the wheel experience not offered by larger schools in the area. A recent report by Statista put the size of the global logistics market at about $8.6 trillion in 2020, with North America ranked as the second-largest region. Drivers remain a significant part of the industry and the demand for qualified, well-trained professionals will undoubtedly rise as the market continues to witness steady growth.
The school will offer a CDL Training Course, J.J. KELLER FMCSA approved ELDT virtual training to students. Students will be empowered to obtain their CDL, with emphasis on DOT daily job requirements, expectations, professionalism and business development.
The training will officially commence on June 27th, 2022. Other training dates are July 4th, September 5th, October 3rd, and November 7th.
